They take off an excellent show, without even giving the viewers notice as to why. If there are only so many episodes left, why couldn´t they just finish airing them all and then take it off the air if they have to. Did you see what the price is to purchase season 4?!!! I really want to see it, but not that rich! I too have boycotted WE, why bother to tune in if they choose to tune out our preferences. Where do you email them or contact them at?

Where is the mentality of the WE people? I can not believe that they would take off a show that so many people watched. And the JUNK that they now show is my decession to never watch WE again. I just don´t understand this world anymore. Why do we have to have just blood and guts or sex and crime to watch. No wonder the children now days are in such trouble.

I, like all of you really miss McCleod´s Daughters. I guess it wasn´t dirty enough or violent enough to keep it on the air. I agree with many of you...TV programing leaves alot to be desired these days. MD´s was one of the great ones. It was worth staying home for. Can´t say that about many tv shows. And just for the record most of the reality tv is stupid! We want quality tv programming instead of the trash that is currently being aired.

I have e-mailed Biography.com and asked them to run the show. I will e-mail A&E, Lifetime, Discovery and alot others. If everyone would do the same then maybe one of them will run the show. WE says that they empower women, what a joke! It empowers them to be spoiled rotten sluts that go out on their men. Hope we have a solution to this problem soon. If anyone has anymore ideas on how to get this show back please state them. The video collection will be remastered for our dvd players in Octobler 2006. I will get that infomation and post it later as I left it in my office.

Glad to see so many others who share my views on WE´s programming change!!!!!
None of the other ´original´ WE series can even compare
to McCleod´s Daughters - I was so pleased when they were showing 2 episodes a week, I thought they were trying to catch up the U.S. market to the rest of the world, since we were behind by 2 seasons - and then it disappeared!
How can you compare the other excrable programming:
spoiled little girls, spoiled brides, married comedians, and then the so-called ´secret lives´ of women - gimme a break.
Here´s a ´secret´ - bring back Nick and Tess (and Alex and and Meg and Terry and and.....)

I too have been a serious fan of the show. What in the heck gave the network the idea to cancel it? It had lots of loyal fans. Now the fans have a void in their lives. I´m serious... I really can´t say I enjoy watching any other show on the tv these days. If I can´t have this show, then where can we buy an American usuable dvd set of the entire series???

You owe it to us to give us what we want or at least tell us how to get the series in the US.

You can contact other stations to play the McLeods Daughters series by going on to their website, as in Bioghraphy.com and look for the contact us icon or emblem. Most of the time it will be in lighter letters. Then ask them to playt the series. If enough people do this they will hopefully consent.

My daughters and I are very disapointed that WE dropped the series. My oldest daughter calls from Florida and conferences with her sister in Houston, TX and they conference with me in Katy, TX to watch the show together. WE LOVED IT. I, myself have camped out in the livingroom on the McCleod marathons and my husband just calls out for delivery. Please pick the series back up.

I can´t understand why WE would create a station that would show entertainment that women would watch faithfully, and then cancel a show that has women changing schedules to be home to watch. My husband and I also looked forward to Saturday evenings. I agree that McLeod´s Daughters was one of the best movies on TV. I was VERY disappointed to hear that it was canceled by WE especially right after Claire died. I also have discovered that the episode where Claire died was from 2003. There are SO many episodes afterwards! Tess and Nick get married and Nick finds out that Sally had his baby. Shame on WE!!!

First let me add i to am no longer a WE net work fan. haven´t watched since they took MD off. ok here it goes. Clair "lisa" left by choice one to spend more time with family and to persure other career opps. Becky left for the career move also. by the way did you know that in real life Harry is " beckys" father. Clair has just recorded a cd. i hear its very good. no net work has picked MD up as of yet. as you may know the usa is aabout 3 seasons behind (really suck) even more so know that we can no longer watch. i heard that the dvds are going to be available in the usa in a format that will work with our dvd systems. in season 4-6 you see differences. not sure if i should give any way because some may get upset. if anyone wants to know just leave a message and i´ll check back later...your usa neighbor ....usa mary

Kerstin, It turned out that Tess has no cancer and on their way back from the town just before a celeb party (at which Alex wanted to pop the question to Claire) Tess, Claire and Charlotte had a car accident, Tess and Charlotte survived but Claire could not climb out of the car and she fell off the rock with the car... Was devastating and shocking, I think everyone cried her eyes out..... So this has happened to Claire...

Me and my mom has followed McLeod´s daughters and we have loved it so much...til Claire died yesterday....What are you doing???? She and Tess are McLeod´s daughters, the whole series...what are you gonna do now. Alex and she had just started...I can´t tell you how disappointed we are, we loved them both. If Lisa Chappel didn´t want to be in the show anymore, it woould have been better just to replays her, not kill her!!! We are really sad and not really sure if we want to keep looking. Otherwise it´s the best series we have ever seen....why did Caire die???? You can never repair that hole she has left, not for Alex, even if I guess the new girl will play a part there.
Now I will see todays episod and probably cry my eyes out again...WHY????

I am a huge fan of McLeods.Just very sorry that Becky and Claire is out.They leave a huge gap in the story.

I must say, McLeods Daughters are one of the finest shows in the world. And Australia should be proud. The only show that you can be as addicted to is FRIENDS. And these two shows are not even in the same category.

I saw the episode with Claires death two times, and I cried both times. It was so sad and beautiful. And her last words were just perfect...."I love you!". And boy, do Bridie Carter act like a pro. when she comes running back to Drovers with little Charlotte in her arms, and are just screaming. But, was I mad after I had seen that episode the first time. I just kept thinking, how could they kill Claire? There is no McLeods Daughters without her. But now it´s okay. I guess. And after all.... It is just a show! I have been able to live without Claires character for 16 years, and i think I am able to live a lot longer without her a Tess.

my mum got me into it in 2002 when i was eleven or it was 2001 and i love it now and i i can´t miss any episode and you did a great job of keeping the show alive after claire died which was so sad i had a huge puddle of tears at the end of that episode. I am so glad tess and nick got maried i cried in that episode too it is great that you put unexpected twists in it like sally having nicks first child. GREAT WORK keep it up.
i am huge fans of the cast of Mc Leod´s daughters espiecally Bridie Carter and Myles Pollard all the rest are really good people to i love all the cast.

I´m from Hungary, too.
I really loved McLeod´s Daughters, but since Becky left, it is not the same. I was disappointed in the loss of her, and then when Claire died, I was annoyed. And of course, I was crying during the episode. When I woke up next morning, I saw Claire´s face in front of my eyes. I still watch the series, buut don´t like it as much as earlier. And it is unbelievable that Becky was not on the funeral, and since she left, nobody has mentioned her and she has not sent a letter. She WOULD do it! And before Claire´s death, she met Stevie, and did not really take care of Tess before the operation. It is again unbelievable. So I´ve got some problems with the dramaturgy here.
I love the characters and I miss Claire and Becky! Soon, Meg will leave.
It is a new McLeod´s now, and I cry for the old one!

However, I can hardly imagine the feeling when I see Alex falling for another woman - he and Claire were the ultimate couple!

Wow brillient love this think that this should also be released on DVD in the UK as lots of people are missing the show because of the time hallmark are showing it. I know that i could video it but my memory is terrible.

I am also Danish, but I just finished watching the episode of Claire´s deatch. I haven´t cried so hard since I saw Braveheart!!!!!

I think it is an idiotic thing for Claire to die. She is the coolest woman ever! How will the show go on without her? And the thing is, that Alex will have to fall in love with another woman at some point, which is ludacris! They had a special bond and I think it will deminish their relationship if he falls deeply in love with another woman.

Still, Tess is a great person too, but nothing like Claire and her stubborness!
I´ll always be a Claire/Lisa fan, and i don´t support her death at all.

Sorry for all my negative words, but I just loved watching her and Alex ( the greatest man in the entire show).

I have really enjoyed mcleods daughters-it is one of the best and entertaining series I have ever seen. We see a lot of australian series here in denmark :always greener -the flying doctors-water rats and others and frankly I love them all -but Tess and the rest are the best.

I absolutely love McLeod´s Daughters, I have been watching it right from the very first episode. I love the farming way of life, it makes me wish that I was one of them. I also love how the camera tricks you into thinking that the farm is huge, when in real life it is only the size of a hobby farm. Nick and Tess are my favourite characters, and I really hope that they get together real soon, I think they are made for each other, and I think that Nick is real cute. I hope that McLeod´s Daughters keeps going forever, I hope that they keep on making new episodes. I don´t know what I would do without the show, when there is a break inbetween series, I really miss it, I live for McLeod´s Daughters.

I think Mcleods Daughers is the best TV show that has ever been aired. It is fantastic. It shows that women can do a mans job and most of the time do it better. It has everything mixed in from heartache to romance, finance problems to good times, everything that is in the real world. I think it is wonderful and It is the way of life I always wanted and maybe one day have. The actors are great and really get into there roles, they do a wonderful job and I could not see anyone else doing there roles, they all seem to have so much passion for there work which makes it even more interesting. I give Mcleods 10 out of 10. It is an inspiration to me. I love it.
