I saw the movie for the second time today. I cried this time too =)
We were fortunate enough to meet "Uncle Nino", Pierrino Mascarino, after the show. He is so excited about the turnout during the year long run here in Michigan! He asked everyone to promote it however possible to people across the country as it will be nationally released in February. I´ll certainly do my part!
I´m so grateful for a movie with such a good storyline without profanity and worse. I hope the writer and producer will continue with more movies of the same high standards.

I was pleasantly surprised by Uncle Nino. It was a GREAT film. It was sensitive, sentimental while being amazingly real. The movie depicted "modern day" family life, the pressures, the stress and the deterioration of the family and a very warm and wonderful approach to "fixing it". There were tears, laughter and many events that apply to all generations. Truly a great film. Everyone (audience of 350 people) I spoke with thoroughly enjoyed it. The most telling comment I heard was, "Uncle Nino was thoroughly entertaining. It just proves you can have a great film without sex, violence and swearing. " America needs more Uncle Nino type films.

What a lovely movie that displays the breakdown of families in their own homes. Uncle Nino is super glue and portrays this so well. We can imagine him to be our uncle no matter our ethnic background. It is very nice to have a movie the whole family can go to together! It´s wonderful for all ages to see. We wish it much success all around the nation!

I saw the movie twice and thought it was a must see family movie. No sex, No violence and no Special effects. Just a true to life story. (hollywood take a closer look).

No shock-factor violence, no incessantly smart-aleck kids, no self-conscious "street talk" to prove hipness, no ear-splitting "music" track. Just the most real movie you´ve ever seen. And if you didn´t like it, see it again. Because you´re exactly the kind of cynic who NEEDS it MOST.

This movie is still going gangbusters at Celebration Cinema. Everyone I talked with said they want more movies like this. I think the babyboomers are ready for good, clean, family movies. Go Uncle Nino!

This was by far the most appropriate movie I have seen in a LONG time. I went to a showing in Grand Rapids, MI and met Uncle Nino when he was promoting this movie. You will NOT be disappointed with this movie. BELIEVE ME! Also, if your beliefs permit, pray for Uncle Nino on his journey back to CA. He´s also going through some tough times. Today we´re going to take my whole family to see the movie for the 2nd time.

I saw this movie tonight with my family.

This movie is perfectly timed to be a welcome change from our MTV-laden entertainment industry. The SuperBowl halftime fiasco reveals how disgusting much of the the entertainment is that is available to us.

This movie is genuine, believable, funny, tender and heartwarming. I loved it and would recommend it to ANYONE!

It is about time! A movie that has humor, good sense, and emotional appeal without swearing, sexual innunendos, inappropriate behaviors, or murder. Grand Rapids, get out of the winter doldrums and go to Celebration Cinema and see this movie. The actor starring in the title role has touched many lives with his visits and speeches to local children.
Bravo for Uncle Nino. Make many more movies like this.

This is an excellent movie. I could identify with the main characters. It is a good reminder of the things that are truly important in life. It has the wonderful dialogue; the style of classic films. It is well worth seeing and I highly recommend it.

I was able to see the premier of this movie, and it is the best family movie I have ever seen. I would be so suprised if this movie did not play nation wide. If it does, GO TAKE YOU´RE FAMILY TO SEE IT! ) You won´t be disappointed!

This movie is now playing in the Grand Rapids, MI area, and it is one of the best family movies I have ever seen.
I had the opportunity to meet Uncle Nino while he was in town promoting the movie, and the guy has a genuine concern for making good family movies.
Can´t say enough about it. Hope it makes it nationally.
