It premiered at the AFM in LA in November, and you can get a Special Edition of the movie that includes a special interview with Ben Browder - for all you Ben Browder fans! There were a limited number of these produced, done before the regular domestic release copies. These are the only ones with artwork on the cover featuring Ben Browder the way it does.
This is a real collectible for Ben Browder fans!
Meanwhile, I have my own copy, and love the Interviews and the Commentary. … But the best part is being able to watch AKW again and again! It´s complex enough to find new things in the performances, especially Mr. Browder´s performance. There are hints in every scene as to who the real killer is.
Mark Hansen plays an incredibly manic and scary bad guy!
In a year full of formulas and remakes that have driven me from the theaters, this little independent movie is a real breath of fresh air!
I love the classic romance of the plot, the film noire style, and the shock of Ben Browder´s performance. I thought he was good before, and he´s always great eye candy, but his performance in A Killer Within makes me want to see him in more of this kind of genre!!! He so obviously has so much more to offer than we´ve seen on TV or on film to date!

I´ve seen an early cut ot this movie, and I was impressed! And, as a Browder fan.... YA’LL! - Ben Browder has some really great stuff in this movie!
I was so jazzed after we’d watched the movie.
I want to see it again! I want to pore over it and look for all the little nuances I missed the first time through because I was concentrating on the plot. Every so often I would think, “Wow, that’s a great camera shot.” Or, “Wow, the lighting is beautiful in that scene.” My daughter would pop up with the same comments, usually at the same time.
Giancarlo Esposito is hunky in all his costuming. Well, duh.
Ben Browder was looking hunky in his "Lawyer Guy" suits. You know… He’s always a feast for the eyes anyway, no matter what he wears, right? Just bring on those eyes, baby!! They had to peel me off the floor after Browder´s performane in A Killer Within.
This movie is going to be gorgeous on the big screen.
Ben (sigh) Browder is smart and fun to watch. I can´t rave about everything Mr. Browder has ever been in, but I can honestly rave about A Killer Within. On the other hand, I´d walk a mile and pay for a ticket just to see him watch paint dry!!!
Brad Keller has an innovative eye, and a dark sense of humor. I never had the feeling that camera shots and lighting were mundane or ordinary. His actors put their best foot forward.
I´ll show up to see Mr. Keller´s next movie. ....I´ll show up in a big hurry if he has the good taste to hire Mr. Brower again!!!
